Historic Rock Barn Wedding | Canton, GA | Kimberly + Greg

Kimberly and Greg met at a Crossfit competition… well actually, Kim met Greg’s dad first. Greg’s dad kind of played Greg’s wingman that day. Once Kim introduced herself to Greg’s dad, and eventually Greg, she and Greg realized they had mutual friends at the competition. Greg started dropping some hints about wanting to go get a drink soon after the competition and they had their first date at a brewery in Kennesaw. The rest was history!

Kimberly and Greg’s wedding day at the Rock Barn in Canton was absolutely stunning. The Rock Barn is a gorgeous historic site with cafe lights, exposed brick and rocks, and a cozy atmosphere! Their attention to detail was evident – from their florals to their cake topper to the personal touches throughout the entire day!

A couple of favorite moments from their day:

  • Getting to reconnect with two of my former dance company friends, Emily and Renee. Emily is Greg’s sister and Renee was the talented hair and makeup artist!
  • Greg making funny faces which made Kim laugh SO much.
  • Their ceremony was full of laughter, which is so true to them.
  • After the ceremony, Kim and Greg switched into special Crossfit sneakers! Very smart (and comfortable).
  • When Greg went in for Kim’s garter… he got “iced.” And if you don’t know what “getting iced” means… it’s when you have to drink a Smirnoff Ice… on your knees. And it wasn’t a normal 12oz size either so other guests (and his sister Emily!) came up next to Greg to help him finish the drink. It was HILARIOUS.
  • Another hilarious moment: Emily trying to feed me cake. Enjoy that when you scroll through this blog post.
  • Kim’s family is Latino AKA they tore up the dance floor. It was so fun watching Kim dance with her family!

Congratulations, Kim and Greg. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, laughter, craft beers, puppy kisses, and WODs!
