An Intimate Wedding at The Gavi Estate | Whitney and Parker

Whitney and Parker met online about four years ago and hit it off right away. Parker popped the question in November 2019, the day after Thanksgiving. The funny thing is… it was right after the Auburn-Alabama game. Parker is an Alabama fan and Whitney is an Auburn fan… and Auburn just beat Alabama! You know it’s true love when you’re a house divided, you lose, and you still propose to the girl of your dreams!

Their wedding was originally planned for March 28, 2020, in South Georgia but unfortunately, it was postponed because of COVID… and then ultimately canceled because the venue closed permanently! After another reschedule, they decided to have their wedding close to home.

Whitney is originally from Forsyth, so they decided to get married at the Gavi Estate. Whitney told me that not too much changed from their original wedding plans because they were going to have a small intimate wedding anyways! I’m loving the intimate wedding ideas – I feel like it takes the stress off of your big day knowing that just your closest friends and family are there.

Whitney and Parker’s wedding day was absolutely stunning. It was warm but sunny, which made for some really gorgeous photos. I loved their decor – I’m a sucker for greenery and white florals! Their dog Ashby was involved in their wedding and even had a special bowtie collar and leash… except he totally escaped out of it once Whitney came down the aisle. It was kind of hilarious! Whitney’s nephew might have just stolen the show though… he was the cutest ring bearer ever and was quite the ham for me. Just wait until you scroll down to see those photos! And the best part? During bride and groom portraits, the sun tucked behind some clouds which cooled everything off and created such a beautiful backdrop for us! Overall, it was an amazing day!

Congratulations Parker and Whitney! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
