Chris and Kelsea met during a criminal justice class they had together at Armstrong State University in Savannah but… they never spoke to each other. The following semester, they happened to have Sociology 101 together. Chris recognized Kelsea’s unique book bag and sat down next to her. Throughout the {horrible – her words!} course, their friendship blossomed into something more. The only good thing that came from that class was their relationship. 7 years later on New Year’s Eve, Chris got down on one knee in their living room and asked Kelsea for her hand in marriage.

Kelsea and Chris’s wedding day was a warm, October Saturday at the beautiful Wesleyan College in Macon. When I walked into the bridal suite, Kelsea squealed when she saw me – that is always a sweet feeling! Their day was filled with so much laughter. Kelsea and Chris are super goofy and I love that about them. A couple of my favorite moments were:

• Kelsea’s first look with her dad and her brother
• Strategizing to get an epic shot of Kelsea and Chris’s first kiss from behind the altar
• Chris’s groomsmen cracking me up during their pictures
• Kelsea asking her mom to dance for a surprise mother-daughter dance
• More dancing surprises! Kelsea’s brother surprised her with a special dance during the reception to an acoustic cover of Who Let the Dogs Out? and it was AMAZING.
