Georgia College Graduate

This post is super special because this sweet girl is my sister-in-law! Madelyn is my husband’s youngest sister and it’s hard to believe that 13-year-old girl I met so many years ago is graduating COLLEGE!

Madelyn is earning her degree in Early Childhood Education and plans to teach elementary school in the fall. She’s following right in her mother’s footsteps… fitting since she is the first “cohort baby”! Her mom had Madelyn when she was in the  cohort at Georgia College. Karen and Madelyn actually have the same mentor leader, too! There’s actually a really cute article about them!

We started off her session at the Hay House in Macon because she loves that building and then made our way to Millegeville to Georgia College’s campus.

Madelyn was meant to be a teacher. It’s in her blood. Her education has totally brought her out of her shell and I cannot wait to see what next year has in store for her! Congratulations, Madelyn! We love you so much and are so proud of you!
