I met Sammy and Alex at McKenzie and Xane’s wedding back in Decemeber. Sammy is an uber talented wedding coordinator and the owner of Jackson and June Events… and little did I know that she and Alex had just found out they were expecting before that wedding!

Now that I’m pregnant, I know what it’s like to have to push through first trimester symptoms to get a job done but Sammy handled it with such grace and ease! I was thrilled when she reached out to me to schedule her lifestyle newborn session with me.

Sammy and Alex are the type of people who you feel like you’ve known for years when really you’ve just met them. They are so warm and welcoming and very clearly amazing parents. Amelia was an angel during her session and only likes to be held by Mommy or Daddy! She wore an adorable knotted gown from Caden Lane and was so content just being held and loved on.

Amelia’s nursery was beautifully designed and had special, sentimental touches from Sammy’s childhood! The dresser and changing table were handmade for HER by her grandfather and now Amelia gets to use them, too. We also had Sammy and Alex’s cats join us… and dare i say, they stole the show a couple of times! Scroll to see some of my absolute favorites from this session!
