Megan and Spencer have known each other since the fifth grade, but were never really that close. Megan left public school to attend private school in the eighth grade and claims they never thought much about each other again… that was until that one day when Spencer saw Megan in the grocery store. Later that evening, Spencer decided to Facebook message Megan. The message read, “Hey, I don’t know if you remember me, but I saw you at Ingles tonight.” And then things took off from there! They started dating when they were juniors in high school and have been together ever since! Best part about their sweet story – they didn’t even have one petty break up, which is pretty big for high school sweethearts! Megan and Spencer went to college together and have become each others’ best friends and soulmates.
Their summer wedding was just absolutely beautiful! Since Mercer holds a special place in Megan and Spencer’s heart, their ceremony was held at the gorgeous Newton Chapel on campus. Megan got ready in one of the alumni houses on campus, which had a perfect wrap-around porch for portraits. Their ceremony was touching and showed just how important God is to their marriage. They celebrating with their friends and family at The Library Ballroom in Downtown Macon. We ended the night with a quick drive to an alleyway with bistro lights for an EPIC night shot!
