I met Allyson back in August of 2019 when we both attended the Good is Cool Event hosted by Macy McNeely. A few friends and I grabbed dinner beforehand in downtown Roswell and Allyson and I quickly realized that we knew a few of the same people! She was a physical therapist at the time and a Georgia fan and we clicked right away.

Chris took Allyson on a trip up the California coast and I remember seeing pictures on Instagram thinking that this would be a perfect trip to propose on! And surprise! He proposed at Lake Tahoe on a snowy mountain top and it looked absolutely perfect!

Allyson and Chris braved stormy skies (read: torrential downpour) for their engagement session. We thought the clouds had lifted but when they got into their position, it let loose again! We decided to head inside Krog Street Market to grab a drink (well, them, not me… #pregnant), to wait out the raindrops. We finally got some sunshine and it was glorious!

I can’t wait to photograph this sweet couple’s wedding in April of 2021!
