Hi friends and welcome to my blog!
I’m Stephanie, a senior and family portrait photographer based in Macon, Georgia. Here on the blog, you'll find recent sessions, tips and tricks, and personal stories. Feel free to take a look around. Thanks for stopping by!
Hannah and Tim met at Griffin’s Animal Hospital. Tim had rescued a dog as a Peach County Deputy and Hannah was taking my parents cats for a check up. Hannah had just switched jobs and remembered saying to herself, “I can’t believe I have to wake up so early on a Friday morning!” Of course, she was humbled. She decided to pray before she got off the exit and her prayer was, “Lord, I know I have a purpose and a plan for going to the vet today, but I am not sure what it is.” Turns out, she walked into the vets office and she felt a voice say to me, “there he is.” There was one seat left in the vets office and it was next to Tim. They talked for almost three hours and Hannah remembers calling some of my friends and saying, “I think I just met my husband!” He was the most comfortable, loving, exciting energy she had ever been around. Another heart touching detail – they met on Hannah’s Pops’ birthday, who is one of the most important men in her life. Hannah says she always knew Tim was the one.
Hannah and Tim’s wedding was probably one of the most emotional weddings I have ever witnessed. Both families exude such love for each other and serve each other so well. Hannah’s family and bridesmaids were ready to step in at any moment to help ease the stress of a wedding day for Hannah and it filled my heart to watch this! Tim and his family were so kind and generous, too. Hannah and Tim’s love for the Lord shone through on their day. It even rained for good luck!
After the emotional ceremony at Hannah’s home church, there was a small (actually, large) reception there to welcome the new couple into marriage! Afterwards, Tim, Hannah, and I got to hang out for their portraits as HUSBAND and WIFE! It was a nice time for them to enjoy a few moments together after a whirlwind ceremony and reception! We finished the night off at Macon Beer Company with DJ Vance Shepard, tacos from Margarita’s Mexican, and lots of great beer. It was truly a magical day. Congratulations Hannah + Tim!!
